My stay in Kl is coming to an end.. I got to go back to work to pay up my work obligations.
The few months I have been here with D has been really peaceful, fun, heart warming and joyous. These will b part of our memories! Thanks D for giving me a part of your salary and always finding activities to keep me happy! You are the best babe one can ever have!
I think our staying apart will b temp.. We will b planning more long term plan that will at least have both of us together in the picture.
Baby planning is a failure so far.. But I guess some couples are childless and yet live a very happy n fulfilling life together.. That should b enough.. But we will leave it to our fate..n not give up hope. Haha.. At least I have a furbaby :)
That's my feel of the 2nd half of 2011!

Nikki Pom Pom
Our latest addition to our family!!! Nikki Pom Pom , our feisty pomeranian !
We have always controlled ourselves n not to get any more pets as we know the consequences n our past track record. But this little guy melted our hearts .. It was love at first sight @-@!
Luckily I m not working n can "potty" train my doggie. He's is such a intelligent doggie !
Right now, the two things he loves is food n sleep. We brought nikki out for a walk with leash today. It's his first time out n we r so proud of him! He walked beside us with his head up n little feet moving :) This is the fruit of my daily 10 min training with leash at home.. U Shld c the first week he was on leash training.. He spun round n round n did not want to even walk.. Keke)
We r bringing Nikki to the vet tmr for a general examination n to see if there is any underlying problem with his wheezing. ( he started to wheeze after we brought him home from his caretakers coz of our weekend trip to singapore.. We suspect its some undigested milk bone that is stuck) Let's hope everything is clear.
This sun, we r bringing Nikki for his microchip .. :)
Here's the best part! Photos of Nikki pom pom!

Original joke by D
At a meeting, my hubby's boss said that the auditor Kxx..Nxx..Nx.. has been on his back ... My hubby thought it was quite awful for his boss to scold vulgarities in a meeting. But later realized that the auditor's name was Kenny Na. Haha!!
.....................................................
This is hilarious .. N I must capture this so that everyone reading can have a laugh n to know how impt names are....

Thailand 2011 (Krabi & Haityai)
Woo... last week was M'sia's national day and Hari Raya... so most of the folks in M'sia had a full one week holiday.. I wonder why there is never such a great week in Singapore...it will definitely bring a smile to everyone in the nation.
Anyways, since its a one full week holiday. D and his family had planned a F&E trip to Thailand..
We departed on a monday night...by train (bed seats)to Haityai.. its been so many years since i when on a trip by rail...(apparantly, i am not the only one).. so everyone of us were quite hype up of taking the train ride..despite knowing its a long trip (9pm till 10.30am)...here's a look at D n me in our train bunk.. we were sleeping opposite each other..

Well.. travelling by train is quite nice.. but due to the long hours and ppl in the train... one have to have a big big heart in order to travel long distance by public transport.. (ie. have to tahan.. ppl chatting , singing, eating, gathering..)
Thats what we did for day 1..
Day 2- we reached Haityai train station .. and took off in a super rented van (12 seater van)to krabi... like always.. D is the driver as he has the best driving skills (or the one who has the most confidence vote)so he was semi forced to drive. Which sucks for the first day.. coz i am left alone with my seat.. luckily his nephew decided to keep me company. ..which is nice..oww.. forgot to take a photo of the van.. how about a photo of D driving...

Day 3- Krabi island hopping.. (hotel-Red Ginger)
We spent the next day island hopping... hmm..i still think Redang island hopping is the best... Thailand has alot of island but its not really fab for snokellers like D and me who love to see what the sea got to offer.. there isn't much corals and fish in Thailand (or at least to the islands we visited.. phiphi n koh samui, koh tao.)But.. at least we got a few fab photos of D and me in our snokelling attire ;)

Day 4-6 I didn't take much photos from day 4 onwards.. but we had travelled to a few interesting places..
A temple..in the mountain (Well Dino climbed up the 1200+ steps to reach the top of the mountain temple..).. i stayed at the bottom of the mountain ..duh...

A cave Koh Krab... which is famous for having formations on the cave like a dragon's spine.. well this is the highlight of the trip.. coz.. we had to lie flat on our back about 80% of the boat ride..as the formations are really low lying... and at the end of the boat ride... the rocks where inches off our face...(seriously.. its not for the faint hearted..) but ohh boy.. what an experience.. D and me were laughing our hearts out due to the excitement (suprisingly D and me's response to sudden excitement is laughter..) Its really an experience out of the world...

A seafood hawker place by some lake...it sells the best Orr Qian..(oyster egg) yummy.. cripsy on the outside and chewy on the inside.. fab fab fab!!!

A floating market... where i tried some wood larva (i saw on some show that these larvas are very rich in protein and clean...)it tasted quite nice... but to my horror....i got larva food allergy when i got back to the hotel... (my face was red, skin was itchy with bumps)..luckily i vomitted out the indigested food n took some medication and was well again the next day..

Hmm.. i didn't take any photos of haityai but its quite a nice place to go.. Thai massage just cost 25 ringgit... food is avail everywhere.....just a simple town to enjoy Thailand street food...The little town had really propered in just a few years .. i was there like 10 years ago and it was quite boring then...
Thats all of my post folks....
Ohh yah.. lesson learnt on the trip.... Having a huge heart is really difficult in practice... but it does help in maintaining peace and harmony... and small irritants passes in a flash... but if you engage it (ie quarrel.. or make a fuss)... you end up having to shoulder some nasty aftertaste... haha.. i think my heart had grown a few inches bigger in this trip ;-) Shows that i m maturing with age ;-)

Even Ronald Mac Donald looks nicer in Thailand!!!

Home away from Home
Hello peeps!!!!!
As you can see from the title, i am now home away from home. I have left my job of 10 years, my cozy nest in S'pore and travelled a few hundred miles, across the straits, across mountains (or shld i say hills) to be with my hubby in M'sia.
My "new' home is a 4 room condo apt at desa park city in Kepong. D had specially chosen this place coz of its security and convienence (ie a mini lake, mini shopping, swimming pool) just around the door step. Its like a mini town within a town.
So far, i have used up my detemination to wake up every morning with D and start my walk around the mini lake at around 7.10am. Yes, so far despite not working, i am still waking up early. Although, i dun think i have lose my weight or trimmed down, at least i am feeling healthier. Can't wait till 7th month is over so that i can start swimming (my fav sport).
Hmm... FAQ time..
Q1) Why did i move to m'sia?
A1) To be with my hubby, to enjoy family life and to be loved and to love ;-)
Q2) Did I regret this decision?
A2) Most definitely no! Priority is hubby vs work/money.
Q3) What did i learn out of leaving work?
A3) Nothing in work is permanent, except for the lessons learnt and memories (good and bad). People come and go, attitude changes, one's success is another's failure, politices, crap and all the bullshit that comes with the pay and position is nothing in the end. I think to experience this now rather than after 20-30 years of working is a true blessing for me. Even if i go back to work in the end, i know my attitude about working and colleagues will no longer be the same.
Q4)Whats my lesson this year (writting this so that i won't forget)
A4i) Not to be too accomodating and nice to "bloody fools". Being frank is the best policy and sometimes, it doesn't pay to be nice.
A4ii) If someone has a history of being unloyal and unfaithful (ie. bad to parents, disnounce their own faith/religion, disrepectful to husband), you should not be close to this person at all.Keep your distance!!! coz this person can just stab you with their eyes wide open. (Yes, Pris.. wake up... dun be a stupid idiot and make the same mistake twice...faintz..)
Haha.. ok ok. i will admit the above FAQ is just a build up to Q4.. which hopefully , i can get the unpleasant memory out of my system soon.
Back to life in m'sia, so far, this month has passed so fast. Lets see..first weekend- Parents were here so we went up to frazer hill. 2nd weekend- We went Mid valley which was fab. Early third week- Went to Penang with D on his biz trip, and also visited his mum at Ayer Tawar on the way back (ate some super big fresh water prawn) Coming third weeked- Going to Penang again on D's biz trip again..
Photos will be posted later....keke..hopefully will start posting more often again..

七里香
Yoo hoo! I finally discovered how to post photo to my blog via I phone!
So readers, here comes the end to the no photo blogging... Hee
First up is this blooming flowers! No it's not from some park, it's the from my little garden.
After having this plant for close to a year , n seeing it thru some periods where it almost couldn't make it..
With much love n care , it finally smiled at us during Chinese new year. The lovely jasmine fragrance it gives
Just makes our day. Only thing is the flowers wither so fast.
Luckily, I captured this

Bored
Now that u r gone, nothing really matters.
Life just go on day by day
Until I can see the end of this void then maybe I will be able to smile again.
For now, I can only hold it in, n take things as they come.
I m glad for the comfort my family gives, but it is far from what I seek.
Penning down my feeling of being bored with work n without u by my side...
Till this chapter ends will this void end, just praying that this chapter won't b long.
Well money can't buy u everything but it does affect the choices that we could have made.
Just hope that all play out well .
Good bye crv, hallu mrt.........life sucks big time!
Bravo to the independent couples out there who live apart, but then again u could live together but live like u r worlds apart.
Dunno how things will unfold n where u or I will end up. But I have faith that it will work out somehow for us.
Sometimes all it takes is a little bit more of courage n confidence to make the leap b it happy or sad at least we tried.
This is me feeling bored.

Unplanned weekend in jb
It was all unplanned, it was supposed to be our reunion lunch this weekend , everything was going as planned in sat. D was excited at 1pm after his work as it was setting off to see me in Singapore. Then at 3 pm he broke the news that he forgot to bring his passport . Not wanting to put his drive at waste we made last min arrangement to cancel the family lunch ... N I made my way down to jb alone, it's been a long time... Not being confident I took the safest way there via taxi at queens st. This taxi brings one across the causeway to the bus station at $10 bucks. I paid extra $5 to go to puteri pacific aka ex-pan pacific.
Well I think the trip was quite nice, a short weekend getaway with d. Although he felt real sad to be so close to home but yet unable to cross the border. I really wonder why many singaporeans make their way there every weekend coz it's really a boring place. No offense. But it's maybe that we don't know where else to go other than city square.
Looking forward to my weeklong holiday next fri onwards w d.. Heehee only pity is u can spend more time with my family at CNY .. Nvrmind lah, I m sure they will understand

Spring cleaning 2011
CNY is round the corner, this year I decided to do a little spring cleaning. First up this week is my kitchen.. It took six bags of trash to clear all the unwanted stuff. Haha, actually that's pretty much it...anyways not much creative juices this month so no new cards nor new creations.... Instead, I have bought some new year stuff to decorate some of my plants n front door. Just found that I dunno how to post photos from my iPhone so no photos folks.. Can't wait till next week n I will be off from next fri to visit d in Kl!!
