A Long Way

We have come a long way since our days in US studying in OSU. The fav thing we love to do in Oklahoma is fishing.. here's an old photo from our past...

Zoom back to the present......its 1.5 more hrs to my 3rd year Wedding Annivesary... can't believe time pass so fast and its already 3 years since our traditional wedding ceromony.

Lets see.. thou we don't celebrate our anniversary.. thou we are not around each other the past 2 years, we are still glad that we are still together, we are still glad that we made it through this period. we are still connected despite the distance.

What we have is not superficial, what we have runs deep, what we have began a long time ago, what we have will only continue to grow and flourish, what we have is more than words can say.

Wedding! Weddings!!! Weddings!!!!

Wedding! Weddings!!! Weddings!!!! OMG.. this year is the year I broke my record of attending weddings!!!!!!!!! From November to December....i have been to 4 weddings.... and yes, it have left a big hole in my pocket.. and an angry hubby ...

I guess.. weddings are quite fun... its nice to see friends and colleagues in their wedding gowns, walking down the aisle and warm atmosphere of love ... hehe.. makes me remember of my own wedding...

But i surrender already.. i will not want to attend any more functions this year.. too tired from the wait for the start of the meal to the end of the meal.. Why can't people be punctual.. why must it always start 1 hr later and end like 11pm... WHY WHY WHY?? Dun they know that by the time from 10pm...my stomach and brain has already become sleepy mode...and Dun they know its difficult to go home (my last bus is 11pm... so makes going home by public transport challenging)

WHy Why Love

Hehe.. I think in October.. I watched a Taiwanese Drama called "Why Why Love".. Well... guess why i started to watch Taiwanese Drama now.. coz. i finished watching most of the K dramas i wanted to watch and the J dramas that i wanted to watch.. so only T dramas left..

So i did abit of research and finally decided that "Why Why Love" rating is high...and finally watch it.. and i am hooked.. (until the last 2 ep.. coz the drama decided to have some "drama rama" which i can't stand to watch on..)

So the drama I am watching now is "Devil beside you" its the drama (2 yrs) before "Why WHy Love" with the same actors and actress... haha.. but this drama is a kiddish version of Why Why Love.. i should have seen this drama first.. then watch Why Why love.. then i can see how the actors and actress mature in their acting skills..

Aiyah.. but even thou childish.. i have to see it.. coz got drama poision...so have to watch it...

The next drama which i have to watch is " Bull Fight"..haha.. .lucky for me .. i got a colleague.. who shares the same taste with me in the string of dramas.. i think her level of poison is higher than mine..Wah Ha ha

Russian Matrioshka Dolls

Have you ever seen Sesamin Street? It was my favourite show when i was young.. i will count along with big bird, elmo, ....and in one of the counting along, there will be the beautiful stacking dolls... we will go One.. and then it will open up.. then Two.. and another mini doll will come out.. i was always amaze how many were stored inside these dolls..

Ohh wait... another childhood memory suddenly pop out.. i seem to recall that my neighbour.. childhoon play mate "AH GIRL" also seem to have one which was bought by her musician father.. but that memory is quite blurred.. so not sure if occured or not.. haha

So when Dino bought this for me last Dec .. i was very happy... the photo doesn't do justice.. coz it is very shiny red and very nice...

Matrioshka Dolls, The name derives from an old Russian word for "mother", since all the dolls are nesting inside the largest. You might see only one doll, but pull them apart at the middle and you'll discover 3, 4 and even 5 dolls...

Fire Drill

Ohh.. boy....my company's bi-annually fire drill occured today...it came as a surprise and guess where i was on that very moment the fire bell rang.

I was at the 41st storey of the building having my one to one with my director.. at first, my director told the fire warden that he wants to be excused as he is in a meeting (means i also excused) but then his boss..called his handphone and told him that he has to participate in the fire drill .. so i disappointedly ..made my way down from 41st storey..in my heels.. by the time i was at 15th storey.. my feet are wobberly like jelly..by the time i was at the 1st storey.. i was sweaty and tired..

The only 3 words to describe how i feel is "QUAH QUAH QUAH".....

After the fire drill.. i still had to continue on with my one to one meeting with my director.. the meeting when quite well lah...

Hair Candy???

For those of you who knows me, will know that i like to clip my fringe up (unless i have just rebonded my hair)..I started developing this habit.. hmm.. like 3 years ago??? can't even remember ....when...but now when i let my fringe down,.. many of my colleagues are not used to it.


Anyway, here's part of my collection of hair candy... but frankly,,, its not easy collecting it in Singapore.. because. although there are alot of hair clips in Singapore... many are too "over"... or just simply not my style.

The ones in pink by the left hand side are the ones i bought from korea... the one in green (last row) and pink ( first row) are from a shop that says they got it from Hong kong... the blue one is a birthday gift bought from chomel...

The next time i go to Japan or Taiwan... i guess I will be searching for much more when i go to these countries... i guess the variety there will be much more than Singapore...

The ones at the 2nd picture are my older collection, some of which are bought by my mum from China and Thailand for me.



Wish i can find more hair clips to add on my collection !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




Hehe.. come to think of it.. my collection is too small to say that it is a collection... hehe.. so how many do i need to have in order for it to be considered a collection???

Year End Party

Today is my department's year end party.. and it was really quite fun.. had lots of laughter today...Well.. the objective is to make the staff happy.. and i think the objective was achieved.

This year.. i think i am not that lucky...coz didn't win a single prize for the lucky draw or any cash value prizes (vouchers).. .. only thing i won was a B4 size note book.. (haha.. at least i won something.. only consolation..but it was after i had to dance the stupid chicken dance with 10 other colleagues.. yucks...)

Food is always the same old same old.. buffet style... Fried rice, bee hoon, prawns with shell on (pls lah.. if you want to have prawns in the menu.. have it without the shell lah...so troublesome to pluck away the shell during these parties).. roast chicken, fried crab claw, Veg with mushroom... fish teriyaki... alamak.. next time i must make it a habit to take some photos.. no point just describing hor.. i must post the photo too..

Well.. now the only other "party" left is the xmas party for my unit... i think it would be just a simple affair... just food and gift exchange.

For me.. such events are only fun if the people you sit with are fun.. if the people you sit with are boring, dull and not spontaneous.. you end up drying up with bordem... ...thankfully.. the people is sat with today are quite fun...

OPENING CEROMONY ON 28 NOV 2007

YES!!! Finally, its the opening ceromony of my blogger blog.

As you can see.. i have created this account since July 2007, but I just didn't find the time to finetune and personalise it to the right feel. So it took me about 5 months to come up with this.

I decided to keep this blog site simple. It would just a place to store my tots and whatever i wish to remember.

I was thinking to myself the other day... how long would this blog last... would it last until I am wrinkled up and toothless.... and if it really last till I am so aged.. it would be fantastic that i have all these stuff recorded for my children and even grandchildren to read. Wah.. won't they be shocked to read of how i recorded my life in writing... I think i would be shocked myself reading it then on how i walk through the ups and downs of my life.
